The Junior Girls Volleyball team started off the season as individual players. As the season progressed, the girls became stronger and closer as teammates. The team remained positive throughout the season and encouraged each other to find success in their two tournaments, finishing second overall in the KASSAA league. Throughout the snow storms, freezing drizzle and missing morning practices, the team persevered to take the quarter finals against Nappanee in 3 sets. An exciting volleyball match against Regi ended with defeat as they girls lost 25-21 in the third and fourth set. The team's motto for the season was "We Believe, We Can and We Will" continue to become stronger, smarter and supportive team players for the next season of Crusader Volleyball.
This team established a total team effort to secure third place standings in KASSAA. From morning practices, to ultimate team building activities, to competitive team drills, and making new friends, this allowed the team to be successful. The team grew together bonding over the hatred for morning practices and created great friendships from them. The team was a very talented team but coming together to play as one was the only obstacle in their paths.

Through the coaches and players leadership the team began to come together as a team.
This years team worked hard and put a lot of effort into their season. For that hard work they started to see some good results. Coach Mr. O'Brien says that " there has been great leadership from the veteran players". They also made lots of new friends and enjoyed the season.
The Junior girls team was coached by Mr. O'Brien, Ms. Lesarge, Jackie Edwards and Mrs. Melo-Jordan. These coaches led the girls who were made up of very young new players to the game to an amazing season. Instead of taking the young team as a set back they worked together and focused on improving their skills . In the end the young team unfortunately lost in the quarter finals to KCVI after a well fought game.
This years Junior girls team had an exceptional season led by coaches Coach O'Brien, Coach Aguilar, Coach Lesarge and Coach Ho.
