Today ALCDSB families and staff received communication from school administration regarding voluntary asymptomatic testing.

The Ministry of Education has asked all Ontario school boards to offer voluntary asymptomatic testing for students and staff. Depending on region, asymptomatic testing may occur through: Community Assessment Centres (CAC's), designated pharmacies, or specific schools within our Catholic school board.

Because asymptomatic testing is being scheduled and and enacted differently by Public Health depending on region, families and staff have been provided the relevant information regarding asymptomatic testing within their respective regions.

ALCDSB kindly requests that all families and staff follow the instructions received from their school, and their region's Public Health Unit when seeking asymptomatic testing.

If you require more information on asymptomatic testing please contact your local Public Health Unit, or see the ALCDSB COVID-19 information page for important links and updates.
