School Year Calendar

​​​The School Year calendar begins development in February for the following school year.  After several consultations and approval by the Board, it must then be submitted to the Ministry of Education for approval.  Once approved, the calendar will be posted.​  

The school year calendar for 2019/2020 has now been approved.

First Day of School - Tuesday, September 3, 2019

Christmas Break - Monday, December 23, 2019 - Friday, January 3, 2020

March Break - Monday, March 16 - Friday, March 20, 2020

Last Day of School - Thursday, June 25


Assessment Dates:

1st Semester Exams: January 23 - 29, 2020

2nd Semester Exams: June 17-23, 2020

Grade 10 OSSLT: March 31, 2020

Grade 3 & 6 Reading, Writing and Mathematics: May 19- June 1, 2020

Grade 9 Math: January 13-24 & June 2-15, 2020
