Dear Parents/Guardians and Students of St James Major Catholic School,
Only a few more days until you are able to enjoy the blessings of the Christmas season. The season of Advent always represents for us a period of great hope as we prepare for Christmas. St James Major is indeed a community of hope, making the celebration of the season of Advent a priority, and helping students to understand the hope that lies in the gift of the birth of Jesus. As Pope Francis reminds us, "…we need to see the light and to be people who bring hope to others." We can never underestimate how the simple interactions we have with one another impact and make a difference to those whom we encounter each day. It is a gift for us to be able to share the hopeful message of Christmas each and everyday. May the peace of Christmas fill your hearts, the joy of Christmas fill your homes, and the blessings of Christmas fill your days throughout the New Year. We look forward to seeing all students on Monday January 7th.
