Professional Development Day for February 2, 2024

P.A. days are professional activity and professional development opportunities for all school staff to engage in and learn. 

Professional Development for all Educational Assistants, Youth Workers, and Administrators on Feb. 2 will be about recognizing that all staff are at different points in the Board's paradigm shift of Today's ABA, offering introductory and advanced training sessions on Keeping it Cool: Increasing safety, dignity, and joy across the day.

Elementary school educators will be working on report card writing.

Secondary school educators are focusing on Semester 1 assessment and evaluation and Semester 2 planning.

There are seven P.A. days throughout the 2023/24 school year that are held approximately once a month. To view the school year calendar, click here. Details about each P.A. day can be found on the board website, under News & Announcements, two weeks prior to each scheduled date.​
