Principal's Welcome Message

Welcome to Archbishop O'Sullivan Catholic School

I would like to welcome you to the Archbishop O'Sullivan Catholic School community.  I am pleased to be part of the Archbishop O'Sullivan community and anticipate another excellent year as we learn and grow together in faith.  The purpose of our school website is to provide you with current events, exciting school news and relevant information.

This 2017-2018 school year we currently have 250 students enrolled.  We are blessed with the spiritual leadership of Father  Sebastian Amato.  We look forward to working with Father and other members of St. Paul the Apostle Parish as our students prepare for the sacraments and celebrate monthly masses. The teaching and support staff of Archbishop O'Sullivan is committed to working diligently to provide a faith-based quality education experience for all and look forward to working in partnership with home and parish in serving every student. We will strive to provide a positive, caring and safe environment where all are welcomed, accepted and respected. The staff of Archbishop O'Sullivan continue to work hard every day supporting students in literacy and numeracy, and also devote their time to coaching and providing extracurricular opportunities for our students.

Completing the triad of Catholic Education, parents are also highly involved in our school community, especially through volunteerism in various programs and accompanying classes on school trips. School Council plays an active role in the life of our school as parent leaders and their tireless efforts in organizing various events and activities for our school community.  In addition, our School Council fundraising initiatives directly benefit all students as money is generously put towards events, activities and resources that enrich an overall school experience.

As a Catholic school community, Archbishop O'Sullivan has many rich traditions to celebrate and we can rejoice with pride in the events that will take place this year. We will strengthen our faith through the sacrament of the mass and seasonal liturgies, and by contributing to our local and global communities.

As a school community we set high expectations for our students and encourage them to get the most out of their school experience by taking advantage of the many opportunities for spiritual, academic, physical and social growth. We rely on the support of parents and parish in our mission and look forward to a great school year ahead.

Yours in Catholic Education,

 Lisa Bickerstaffe
