A new Chair, Vice-Chair and Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee have been acclaimed at the ALCDSB's Inaugural Meeting of the Board held on November 21, 2023. The Board of Trustees has acclaimed Terry Shea, as Chair of the Board, Brian Evoy as Vice-Chair of the Board and Tom Dall as Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee.
Terry Shea says he is honoured to assume the role of Chair of the Board for the ALCDSB again. Trustee Shea served the Board as Chair previously in his 25 years of service as Board Trustee.
"As the holy season of Christmas approaches, we come together for our annual Inaugural session. This is a time of renewal and recommitment, as a Catholic school system our faith guides us and helps us re-commit to serve each other for the benefit of all of us," said Terry Shea in his Inaugural address. "To our Board of Trustees, to our Administration and all who share in this journey, thank you for your commitment to Catholic Education and thank you for allowing me to be Chairperson for the year to come."
