Board Elects Chair at the Inaugural Meeting

A new chair, vice-chair and chair of the Finance and Operations Committee have been elected at the ALCDSB's Inaugural Meeting of the Board held on Dec. 4.

The Board of Trustees have elected Terry Shea as Chair of the Board, Gregory Speagle as Vice-Chair of the Board and Michael Murphy as Chair of the Finance and Operations Committee.

Terry Shea says he is humbled to be in the position of chairperson for ALCDSB.

"As a Board of Trustees, we will work collaboratively in service of our mission and I know I will look to Vice-Chair Speagle and Trustee Murphy for support and advice throughout this term," Terry Shea said in his Inaugural Address to the Board.

 "To all who are assembled here, I look forward to the year ahead and I thank you for your contribution to the education and faith development of our children."

In addition to the elections, Father John Brennan, the Board of Trustees, Senior Admin team, and other guests came together to celebrate Mass. Thank you Father John Brennan for joining us.

The inaugural meeting of the board officially commences the 2019 Board Year.
