September 26, 2018

cheque presentation

On July 5, 2018, the 20th Annual Director’s Charity Golf Tournament was held at Trillium Wood Golf Club in Belleville. There were 132 participants for the event raising $20,200 for the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation.

The Foundation has established an Emergency Response Fund to provide immediate financial assistance to children and their families within our school system who are impacted by poverty issues. This assistance includes the provision of medical supplies, food and clothing, transportation and many other financial needs resulting from family crises.

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board can take pride in the fact that all funds raised from the event that were donated to the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation will help enrich the educational experience of our students and give our students the kind of future we all envision for them.

On behalf of the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board we would like to thank the participants, sponsors, committee members as well as volunteers who, through their hard work and dedication, have made this event a success over the years.
