Regiopolis-Notre Dame Catholic High School’s curling team brought home first place at the EOSSA tournament held in Cornwall this February. Dubbed as the "Cinderella" team for exceeding expectations this season, the mixed group won the top spot bringing home gold.

“We weren't sure that we would have enough players to even make a team at the start of the season, but our coach, Joe Bettencourt, was able to find four students,” said Jaime Emmerson, the school's athletic director.
A mix of boys and girls, both junior and senior level students, entered the KASSAA season as a mixed team. “They surprised us all as they kept winning games and moved on to EOSSAA,” said Emmerson.
