The Edge - St. Paul the Apostle Youth Program

October 07, 2020
Edge Youth Ministry is going online! Our last Edge night was over 6 months ago (our awesome St. Patrick's Day Night). Our Core Team misses you all so much and can't wait to get started in a new format this year. We also can't wait to meet so many new youth! We'll be hosting Edge over Zoom this Fall - and we're sooo excited! Each Wednesday night, we'll meet up on Zoom and play some interactive games, lead you in some awesome activities/crafts/baking, have some great discussion, and so, so much more. Any youth in grades 5-8 are welcome to sign-up! Yes - Grade 8s are welcome to be part of Edge (because it really wasn't fair you missed so much this past Spring)! Edge Online starts-up Wednesday, October 14th on Zoom! 7 - 8 pm Click here to sign-up for Edge Sign-up now and make Wednesday night the highlight of the week! Invite your friends! No cost. stpaulkingston.com/fam... More Information About Edge Online! What will Edge Online look like? Edge Online will be a bit different! You'll be sent a link that you'll use every week for Edge Nights. Edge nights will be a mix of large group events and small group events. 1) Large group events: These will include all grades taking part together and generally run from 7 - 8pm. These events will include lots of games, activities, a talk by one of our Core Team, some conversation with others in your grade, and prayer to send us off! Some weeks, we'll be arranging for every youth to receive an Edge Pack that will include activity supplies, treats, and other surprises that will be used during Edge Night! Don't open them until Edge Night!! :D 2) Small group events: These are shorter Edge nights (7 - 7:30 pm) and consist of getting together with other youth your age. Small groups are facilitated by our Core Team leaders and will include games and a short time to catch up with each other! Our theme for October is: Squad Up! We're better together! Everyone wants a squad — a community of people that cares for us, helps and supports us, and gives us a place to belong. We all want to be part of a community that feels like family. That kind of community isn’t easy to come by, but it’s exactly what Jesus had in mind for His followers when the Church first began. The truth is, we can all be part of God’s family, and because we’re God’s family, we can do for others what God has done for us, and we can grow together! Questions?
