Principal's Welcome Message

Flag celebrationWelcome to St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic School.  As stated in our Mission Statement, we are a "community".  As a community, we depend upon each other in order to provide our students with a wide range of experiences and growth opportunities. We promote spiritual, academic, and physical development by offering a full range of programs from Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight. Additionally, students are encouraged to actively participate in athletics and a number of extra - curricular opportunities, such as the ECO Team, Social Justice Committee, Bus Patrol Program and the Lego Club. Various support programs / activities are in place to support both students and parents.

We promote open home-school communication and utilize varied means to keep everyone informed and up to date. The use of student agendas assists in not only communication, but also serves to keep students organized and focused. Our volunteers are highly valued.  Without them, a number of initiatives would simply not be possible. Interested in helping out in some fashion? - - - don't be shy, give us a call - - - we need you, as we are always looking for volunteers.

An active School Council is in place and meets regularly.  All meetings are open and everyone is welcome to attend.  Our School Council is a vital link between all community partners and the School Board as it works to improve and enhance the quality and level of all that we do.

Our on-going goal as a community is to have Home, School and Parish work in collaboration to form a living community with a shared vision that promotes excellence by way of involvement and accomplishment through perseverance, all within a visibly Catholic framework.

May the peace of Christ be with you always.
