On the October 11th day of Professional Development, ALCDSB educators will participate in learning about the Building Thinking Classroom Strategies (which are high-impact classroom instructional practices) for mathematics and all other classrooms. French as a second language teachers will have the opportunity to participate in an overview of revised curriculum and tools to support French language instruction (grades 1-8). All staff will complete required Occupational Health and Safety training as part of the day.
