Hello St. Michael parents and guardians,

We have had many inquiries over the last months about the retrieval of student belongings. We now have a plan in place. Beginning at 11am on Thursday June 18, parents and guardians may come to the school to pick up any personal belongings that their child may have left behind on March 13. We are asking you only to come to the school if you are certain there are things left behind. Clothing, shoes and pencil cases are labelled to the best of our ability and will be on tables in the gym. The lost and found will not be available, and items that we couldn’t determine who they belonged to, were put on the appropriate class table. Again, we ask that you please stay home, unless you are certain that there are belongings at the school.
Children will not be permitted into the school with you; you will need to adhere to our social distancing procedures; verify that you have no symptoms and have not been in contact with anyone who as COVID 19 and sign on a register when you arrive.
Any students who borrowed technology and will not be returning to our school next year- be they grade 8 students, or students transferring to another school, should bring their technology back on this day.
Any families who have medication in the school may retrieve it on this day as well. They will also be given medical form for the next school year. Please take these forms home and send them back in September with any updates necessary.
If you have any school materials or books, that belong to the school, please hold on them, unless you are leaving the school, or coming to the school already. Please do not come just to drop off the books.

3:00pm- yankee, ZooLoo, and anyone else who was unable to make their appointment earlier.
We will be closing the school by 4pm, as we are only permitted access from 9am until 4pm.
 
Please let us know via email, phone call or Facebook post if this will not work for you, and we will do our best to help. As you can appreciate our school population is 650 students and we can not guarantee that we have found any of your child’s belongings that were left behind.
