​Student Council is very happy to announce the grand total that ECC families raised for Martha’s Table. Throughout Lent, we raised just over $1200 to help Martha’s Table run their important meal and social programs. Student Council visited Martha’s Table to present the first cheque of $1122 and the additional cheque with the remaining money that has trickled in will be sent shortly. Since we surpassed our goal (actually doubled it), students at the ECC are recipients of the bonus surprise from Student Council! On Friday, May 10th we will be holding a Kids Choice afternoon at the ECC. Students will discuss with their teacher and vote on what the class would like to do in the afternoon (ex. games afternoon, physical activity outside, time at the park or just an afternoon to read, draw, create, etc.). What a great way to end Catholic Education Week and to celebrate our partnership with such a great cause!
