Dear parents/guardians, Lent is the forty-day liturgical season of fasting, prayer, and almsgiving in preparation for Easter. In keeping with our Lenten traditions, we are facilitating some school-wide Lenten activities. St. Pats will be hosting a Lenten Food Drive with all non-perishable donations going to our local food bank. We will collect these items beginning after the March Break until the Easter weekend (April 9th). Families are invited to donate any non-perishable food items as well as any personal hygiene items. All donated items will be collected in our front foyer again until such time as we give them to the food bank. Ms. Rand’s Gr. 4/5 class will be leading our school in the Stations of the Cross during Holy Week as well. The class is currently busy in the planning stages, but we know they will provide a meaningful gathering for our school. More information to come once some of the details are confirmed.
