​A few news items for the next couple weeks:

1. Catholic Girls League will meet Wednesday, October 25 at 12:30.
2. Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for Tuesday, November 7. Please return interview forms by October 26.
3. Parents can pick up chocolate bar orders on November 7 between 5:00 and 6:30 pm on the evening of Parent Teacher Interviews unless you requested chocolate bars to be sent home with your child.
4. Friday, October 27 is a PA day. There are no classes for students.
5. Tuesday, October 31 is Halloween. There will be a Halloween costume parade at 10 am and a dance for Grades 3- 8 in the afternoon. Parents are welcome to attend the costume parade.
6. St. Mary Catholic School is collecting food items for the Food Bank during the month of October in lieu of donations for the Thanksgiving Dinner. Please consider donating to the Food Bank if you have not done so already. 
7. Parents/Guardians are asked to attend a mandatory information meeting for all children receiving the Sacraments of First Communion, First Reconciliation and Confirmation in 2018. The meeting will be held at Holy Name of Mary Parish Centre on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 2 AT 7 PM. If your child was NOT baptized in one of our Churches, please bring a copy of his/her baptismal certificate. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Office at 613-396-2846. 
   

If you know someone who is not receiving our school news, please ask them to register on the St. Mary, Read website, 'Register for Our Newsletter'. Once you register, you will need to respond to the verification email in order to complete the subscription process. Several people have registered for School Newsletters but have not verified their email address. Please check your junk folder for the verification email.
