Tri-Board Transportation
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is partnered with Tri-Board Transportation to ensure that students arrive safely to and from school each day. Using leading edge technology and communications, Tri-Board provides the most accurate and on-time information to our school communities.
Families of students at the ALCDSB are encouraged to sign up for bus delay and cancellation alerts to be informed on the most up-to-date and accurate information by visiting Tri-Board's website here. For instruction on how to sign up for alerts and bus delays, click here.
Transportation Application Deadline
Wednesday, August 5, 2026

For the 2026-2027 school year, the deadline for bus applications is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, to have access to transportation on the first day of school. If the student will be riding the bus for the first time, or if the student’s address or school will be different in September, an application must be submitted. Eligible applications must be submitted online: https://triboard.ca/online-transportation-application/

- If you are already subscribed, no further action is required. You will automatically receive email notifications on days when weather impacts transportation for your specific bus route(s).
Daily updates on bus cancellations and delays are also posted on the BusPlanner web app linked here:

In the event of zone-wide weather-related cancellations, updates will also be shared on Tri-Board Student Transportation Services’ social media channels.
