Of the ALCDSB students who represented at the QRSTF in Belleville back in April 2025, one Grade 12 student from Nicholson Catholic College advanced to the national level.
Catriona Currie, along with four other students from the region, were selected as recipients of the Canada-Wide Science Fair Award. Participants went on to compete at the national level in Fredericton, New Brunswick this past June. Scroll down for a full list of winners.
Currie showcased her winning project Beneath Stoco: An investigation into the management of Eurasian milfoil, which placed in various divisions at the regional fair.
