ALCDSB Celebrates AccessAbility Champs in our Schools!

An AccessAbility Championis a student or staff member who goes above and beyond to create a more inclusive and accessible environment in their school or community.

These champions are celebrated for creating moments, opportunities, and spaces within their school communities that are more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible for all. From including every student in play at recess, to welcoming and cheering on Boccia tournament athletes, to fostering environments where all students feel safe sharing both their successes and challenges — these individuals exceed expectations. Whether by removing barriers or ensuring peers have what they need to thrive, their impact is felt every day.

Congratulations to this year’s honourees, who will be rewarded with a special gift.
