The graduation celebration was held in the Link Lounge at Loyalist College on Wednesday afternoon. A group of 16 Grade 12 students from St. Paul Catholic Secondary School, St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School and Nicholson Catholic College were honoured with a certificate for completion of the program.

Also in attendance at the celebration were Mark Kirkpatrick, President and CEO of Loyalist College, Chad Munday, Dean - Interdisciplinary Studies, Tammy Winters, Associate Dean - Interdisciplinary Studies, David DeSantis, Director of Education for the ALCDSB, Sonya Melim, Superintendent of Education, ALCDSB, school board staff, trustees, students and their families.
About School-Within-A-College:
The primary focus of the program is to provide ALCDSB secondary students, who are within five credits of obtaining their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), a successful transition into post-secondary.
The Ministry of Education funded SWAC program provides students in the western region of the Board with the opportunity to complete their high school diploma, earn college-level credits, and attend classes in an adult learning environment, at Loyalist College’s Belleville Campus.
