The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board (ALCDSB) is excited to announce that the 24th Annual ALCE Foundation Golf Tournament raised $20,357.38 for the Algonquin & Lakeshore Catholic Education Foundation.  

Since 2007, the ALCE Foundation has provided more than $500,000 in financial assistance to over 1,450 ALCDSB students and their families. The goal of this Foundation is to he​lp families in our school communities needing urgent financial assistance, in times of challenge, with unexpected expenses such as eyeglasses, medical supplies, food, clothing and transportation. 

This year, the golf tournament took place at Trillium Wood Golf Club in Corbyville on Thursday, August 17, welcoming over 135 golfers, from Ottawa to Toronto and everywhere in between. 

The ALCDSB organizes fundraising events and opportunities for the Foundation every year, including an annual silent auction that will be taking place in May 2024, concurrent with Catholic Education Week. Throughout the year, donations are welcome using this link.
