ALL ARE WELCOME AT THIS COMMUNITY EVENT AND IT IS FREE OF CHARGE!
While there are some benefits to screens and social media, research suggests that teens’ mental health can be impacted by how they use it. Using screens and social media too much can have negative effects on mental health and well-being, including increased feelings of anxiety and depression, decreased attention span and social connectedness, lower self-reported happiness and self-esteem, and sleep deprivation.
The Catholic School Councils of Holy Cross and Regiopolis-Notre Dame invite you to a FREE event happening at the Screening Room on Thursday April 11th at 7:00pm. There will be a screening of the film ‘Screenagers Next Chapter: Addressing Teen Mental Health in the Digital Age’ and a panel of local mental health experts who will be available for questions after the film.
Please register ahead of time using the QR code on the poster as seats are limited. If you are having trouble registering, please contact the school.
We hope to see you there!
