ESL and LINC students receive awards at presentation of certificates ceremony

Students​ in the ESL and Language Instruction for Newcomers (LINC) ​programs at Loyola School of Adult and Continuing Education accept awards today during the 2022 presentation of certificates at Zwick's Park.

The Susan An award is donated in honour of Susan An who was passionate about ESL instruction. It is given to a student who has shown great determination and resilience in all aspects of life. Congratulations, Rama!

The UNAC award was presented to Antonio on behalf of Dr. Aruna Alexander, who is the founder of the The United Nations Association - Quinte branch. Congratulations, Antonio!

The Mayor’s Awards were given to eight students for their dedication to learning English and giving back to their school and community. These awards are donated by the four mayors of Belleville, Prince Edward County, Brighton and Quinte West. ​Congratulations Sadia, Elena, Lina, Yun, Jingyuan, Maria, Abas and Mohamad!


Last, but not least, congratulations to all of the Loyola School of Adult and Continuing Education students who received a certificate today! 

The ESL and LINC programs have over 80 students that represent 28 countries across the globe.
