2020/2021 School Year Calendar

calendar icon.png​The School Year Calendar for the 2020-2021 academic year was developed in partnership with the Hastings Prince Edward District School Board and the Limestone District School Board. Consultation with stakeholders included input from representatives of OECTA, CUPE, the Principals/Vice-Principals Association, the Support Staff Association, the Human Resources Department, Catholic School Council Association representatives, Trustees, SEAC, Triboard Transportation and all Catholic School Councils.

The proposed calendar meets the Ministry of Education requirement of 194 days (187 Instructional Days and 7 Professional Activity Days).

Please note the dates below are pending Ministry of Education approval.

First day of school for students: Tuesday, September 1, 2020

Winter Break: Monday, December 21, 2020 - Friday, January 1, 2021

Semester 2 Begins: Friday, January 29, 2021

March Break: Monday, March 15 - Friday, March 19, 2021

Last day of school for students: Thursday, June 24, 2021
