Secondary Skills Competition at Loyalist College

Congratulations to all students who participated in the Skills Competitions at Loyalist College on February 27. 

The following is a list of ALCDSB award recipients:

  • Baking – Chelsea Cole, St Theresa (Gold)
  • Individual Carpentry – Zachary Careen, Nicholson (Silver)
  • Photography – Emily Pickstock, Holy Cross (Gold)
  • Photography – Sofia Mendoza, Holy Cross (Bronze)
  • Team Carpentry – Rachael Callery & Michael Soudant. Holy Cross (Gold)
  • Team Carpentry – Annie Layfield & Ainslie Whalen, St Theresa (Silver)
  • Team Carpentry – Laura McLaren & Ethan Joe, Holy Cross (Bronze)

 

Special thanks to teacher-coaches Tim Buckley/Andrew Ste Marie, Drew Clarke, John Esford, and Pat Healey.  With their support several of these students will continue to train to represent ALCDSB at the Skills Ontario provincial competitions in April and May.
