ALCDSB Welcomes Board of Trustees

ALCDSB logoFollowing the October 22, 2018 School Board Trustee elections, the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is pleased to welcome four new trustees.

John Duggan, Belleville, Tyendinaga, Deseronto

Peter McEnery, Tweed, Marmora, Hastings Highlands, Stirling-Rawdon, Bancroft, Centre Hastings, Highlands East, Faraday, Madoc, Wollaston, Limerick, Tudor Cashel, Carlow/Mayo, South Algonquin

 

In addition, the Board is pleased to welcome back five trustees:

Kathy Turkington, Kingston and Frontenac Islands

Terry Shea, Kingston and Frontenac Islands

Tom Dall, Belleville, Tyendinaga, Deseronto

Wendy Procter, South, Central and North Frontenac

Greg Speagle, Prince Edward County, Greater Napanee, Loyalist Township, Stone Mills, Addington Highlands


Appointment to the current Trustee vacancy in Quinte West will occur following the Inaugural meeting of the Board on December 4, 2018. 

 

The term date for these trustees begins December 1, 2018 and is a four year term. Each trustee will be sworn in at the Inaugural Meeting of the Board on December 4, 2018.

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School board sends best wishes to five trustees who have served the Board of Trustees for many years and are moving on to other endeavours.

Thank you to Chair John Brisbois, Trustee Sean Kelly, Trustee Brian Kerby, Trustee Gavin Cosgrove and Trustee Cathy Summers for your commitment to Catholic Education and dedication to supporting the needs of our staff and students.

Chair Brisbois is a retired teacher from St. Paul Catholic Secondary School in Trenton and served as a Board Trustee for 11 years, representing Quinte West.

Trustee Kelly served as a Board Trustee for 4 years and is currently taking the position of City Councillor in Belleville.

Trustee Kerby served 18 years as a Board Trustee representing Tweed, Marmora, Hastings Highlands, Stirling-Rawdon, Bancroft, Centre Hastings, Highlands East, Faraday, Madoc, Wollaston, Limerick, Tudor Cashel, Carlow/Mayo, and South Algonquin.

Trustee Cosgrove served four years as a Board Trustee representing Kingston and Frontenac Islands.

Trustee Summers served eight years as a Board Trustee representing Kingston and Frontenac Islands.
