The Jedi Council, Social Justice and Eco Teams, serve the St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School Community through a variety of service projects​.  

**We meet every Tuesday, in the Chapel, at the beginning of lunch.**

Please join us if you are interested in:​

  • The Terry Fox Run -  Raising funds for cancer research​.
  • The Annual Food Drive - Collecting for our local food banks and programs.
  • The Christmas Sharing Program - Helping families in our community.
  • Uniform Fast Day (Ash Wednesday) - Raising awareness and funds for the programs of the Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace.
  • The Greenhouse Project - Using our school greenhouse to plant herbs and vegetables.
  • The Recycling Program - A whole-school program to cut down on our contributions to the local landfill site.
  • The Sew-Cool Program - Reusing, repurposing and recycling to make new items through a sewing program.
  • Violence Awareness and Random Acts of Kindness Week - Participating in community VARAK week.  
  • Community Development Council Good Baby Box Program - Annual collection of baby food for the Good Baby Box Program, offered between Mother's Day and Father's Day.
  • The Annual Street Retreat - Working with agencies in Toronto who assist people experiencing homelessness.
  • Annual Donations made on behalf of our school community - Each year we offer our Social Justice funds to a variety of local, national and international organizations.
