**********Today is Wacky Hair Day and Black and Orange Day, ALL IN ONE! Already we have seen some pretty spirited students and lots of wacky hair dos! This is what school spirit is all about!! Have fun, get involved, be proud to come to St. Mary Catholic School, because its a great place to be! Student Council will be coming around to take pictures of your wackiest hair dos and most festive Halloween attire sometime today! Thanks to everyone who dressed up today! ********** **********Tomorrow is Halloween!!! The Student Council will be hosting a Halloween Costume Parade in the gym at 10:00 am for all classes to attend. Students are welcomed to wear a Halloween costume to school in preparation for the parade at 10:00 am. Due to the safety of all students; any masks, capes and props that are needed for the costume parade should be carried to school in backpacks and are not allowed on the bus, yard or worn for the rest of the day (unless permitted by classroom teacher). If possible please make sure all face paint and costumes are put on before sending your child/children to school and just a reminder to send an extra change of clothes for afterwards. Weapons, blood, gore, anything disrespectful should be left at home and are considered not appropriate for school events. Parents and guardians are welcome to attend the parade in the morning. There will be a designated spot saved in the gym for you. In addition there will be a dance in the afternoon for students. The dance will run from 2:00-2:30 for K-2 and 2:30-3:15 for Grades 3-8. We ask that costumes be removed before the dance. ********** ************There will be a meeting at first recess for all of the Eco Team Bulletin Board Members in Mrs. Durepos room. ***************
