The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board supports students to become discerning believers, lifelong learners and responsible citizens.
Each year, staff, students and parents develop our School Improvement Plan and Well-Being Plan (SIPSAW) to establish a road map that identifies the changes to our school needs to make, in order to improve student achievement based on a variety of data.
The SIPSAW outlines our commitment to ongoing monitoring of student achievement and well-being with current, reliable information about how well students are performing. With this knowledge, educators and parents are better able to respond to the needs of all learners.
Our SIPSAW is guided by recommendations from the Ministry of Education and reflects the priorities identified in the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board's Multi-year plan 2019-2020, the
Board Improvement Plan, and the
Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations.
The SIPSAW is a valuable plan that enhances the way curriculum is delivered, creating a positive Catholic learning environment, and supports parental involvement in their child’s learning at school and at home.
