Faith in Action
We are a Catholic School system, called to work in partnership with home, parish and community, on our journey to understand and live the way of Jesus Christ. We are committed to excellence in Catholic education and to lifelong learning, so that those with whom we journey may become caring and contributing citizens in a world of constant challenge.

Our Catholic faith is made visible in all subject areas through the infusion of Catholic Social Teachings, virtues and gospel values into daily learning experiences.  The Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations guide the learning journey for all students.

Our Faith is visible in our β€‹β€‹school and classroom, on bulletin boards and  on playgrounds as well as in our outreach in our community (e.g., student visits to Hastings Centennial Manor and Pitch In during the Spring). We see Faith in instruction in Religious Education and Family Life programs, and in outreach to those in need both in the school, locally and even in our international community. Our School Council organizes an Advent Wreath Making workshop as well as an Easter Family Craft Night.  Our Faith Life Committee (led by Mrs. Cannon) also organize Spirit Days and Dances. They donate the funds raised to support local (e.g., Food Banks and the North Hastings Hospital Auxiliary), Board (ALCDSB Education Foundation), provincial (e.g., Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario), and international (e.g., Soap for Jesus for Canadian Food for Children) organizations.
