Ms. Bogle and the members of her Gr. 5 class have been busy as of late preparing for their presentation of "The Life of Marguerite Bourgeoys: As Told in Story and Song". Our performers were able to offer their singing and acting talents to our school on Tuesday, December 10th and to other schools in our board on Wednesday, December 11th. We were very pleased to have Sister Eleanor Monahan and Sister Emily Doherty in attendance. Sister Eleanor composed the music for the performance many years ago and Sister Emily wrote the playlet based on the music, which our students were able to bring to life in this performance. This special event coincides with the 400th anniversary of St. Marguerite Bourgeoys' birthday. We also need to say a great big thank you to Pauline Scott and Brenda Boles, who spent much of their own time and talents creating and sewing the fantastic costumes for the performance.
