EOSSAA Preparations 03.05.12
The information below is taken from an e-mail sent to RND Coach Mr. Mike Faught.
All tomorrow’s game will be held at the Ambassador Ice Pad at the Invista Center. When entering the rink, through the front doors, the ice will be the first on your left. Dressing rooms will be yours for the day. Warm-up pucks will be provided. I will touch base with each of you to collect any remaining info and cheques before your games. Good luck.

KASSAA Hockey Final for the Panthers 02.28.12
Monday, March 5 - 2:30 at Invista (10:30am) 03.01.12
 RND advanced to the KASSAA hockey final following a 5-3 victory over Sydenham at North Frontenac Arena. Matt Horton paced the RND attack and played a a solid two-way game. Rookie Adam Bennett had a stellar game, calmly turning away the Sydenham offence, time and time again. Tim Tennant held the line in the Panther net, and added a couple of assists to the cause. A great team effort from each of the Panthers. Quarter-Final Victory for Panther Hockey 02.23.12
RND convincingly won their quarterfinal match over KCVI, 6-1. A full team defensive effort effectively shut down the Kingston attack. Tim Tennant was great in the RND net, allowing only 1 goal on a penalty shot. Matt Horton paced the RND offence with two goals and Adam Bennett kept the Panther attack moving forward with 2 assists and solid defensive play all game. RND moves on to the semi-finals next Tuesday. The Panthers will move to Semi-Final action on Tuesday, February 28 versus the Sydenham Golden Eagles.

RND closed off the KASSAA Boys Hockey regular season with a 4-0 win over Bayridge. Tim Tennant was solid again in net, earning the shutout. Nic Storr had 2 goals. Matt Horton and Rhys Davies each had 2 helpers for the Panthers. Practice Postponement 02.15.12
The practice scheduled for Thursday February 16th (3:30-4:30) at the Invista Centre has been postponed. It will be rescheduled for a later date. The next game is Tuesday the 21st vs. BSS.

Back on the Ice vs Frontenac 02.07.12
RND edged Frontenac in a tight battle at Cataraqui arena on Tuesday. RND goalie Tim Tennant was the difference, turning away a determined Frontenac squad time and time again. Nailbiter versus the Black Knights 01.17.12
RND got by Lasalle in a shootout in Boys Hockey at the Kinsmen rink on Tuesday. Dan Fowler and Simon Schmitke scored in the shootout. Thomas Burton turned away all three Lasalleshooters to secure the win for RND. RND High Scorers: Mike Henry - 1G, Simon Schmitke - 1G, 1A, Fred Scott - 1A, Mike McKitrick - 1A.

The Boys Hockey Panthers forced an offensive outburst onto the Ernestown Eagles in their final KASSAA contest before the Christmas holiday.

Winter Season 2011 - Tryouts
All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. Student Accident Insurance
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
