Games Schedule for January and February 12.21.12
RND and the 4 other Catholic High Schools in the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board have organized a series of boys basketball and girls volleyball games for January and February 2013.

In addition to these matches the Panthers will travel to Holy Cross on Thursday, January 17 in the annual Memorial games in support of the Canadian Cancer society.
Carl Dorland Tournament - Information 12.21.12
In the New Year the Panthers will travel to the Niagara Region and compete in the Carl Dorland Invitational at Ridley College in St. Catherines on Friday, January 11 and Saturday, January 12. The Junior and Senior Panthers will be staying at the Best Western - St. Catherines - 2 North Service Road, St. Catherines, Ontario, L2N 4G9 (Phone: 906-934-8000). There are a number of rooms booked for the players and coaches of both RND teams.

Junior Basketball Tournament @ RND 12.13.12
The RND Panthers are co-hosting a Junior Boys basketball tournament with games this weekend in the two gyms on the Russell St. campus, as well as at Holy Cross.

Harrisville Pirates Tournament 11.25.12
For the first time in three years the Panthers will return to compete in New York State. This year the Junior Panthers will travel to Harrisville, New York for the hometown, Harrisville Pirates tournament. The Junior Panthers will compete in a opening game on Saturday, December 8 before the Varsity teams play in the consolation and championship games. In New York state high school teams are only allowed to play one game a day. This a a great learning experience for our coaches, players parents and fans as they get to see how high school sport specifically basketball is organized and played in another jurisdiction.

Parents and Players should consider the following points about traveling to the United States for our basketball games.
Travel Arrangements: Parents who plan to travel to support the team are asked to share their plans with Mr. Morgenstern. If possible, they can help to transport other team members.

Winter Season 2012 - Tryouts
All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. Student Accident Insurance
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
