2012 - 2013 Badminton
Congratulations to the members of the 2012-2013 RND Badminton Team. In light of the unusual nature of this year's athletic season, we have decided to approach the badminton team in a slightly different way this year. Practice schedules will be as follows: Monday & Wednesday - all junior aged badminton players (boys and girls) Tuesday & Friday - all senior aged badminton players (boys and girls) Practices will involve warm-ups and drills, but will now include a ladder system for challenging other players / teams while at practice. Mr. Farrell and Mr. Riley will set up the ladder system during the first practice sessions next week and will provide instruction as to how the system will operate. Team selection for participation at tournaments will be based on ladder position. The fees for the badminton team will be $30 (which includes team t-shirt), and are payable to Ms. Stevenson. Attendance will be taken daily at practice, and will be factored in to any final decisions with respect to future tournament play.

Winter Season 2012/13- Tryouts
All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. These forms can be downloaded and printed (Click Here) for careful completion before the first tryout session.
Student Accident Insurance
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
