RND Tennis EOSSAA Champions 2012 05.23.12 Congratulations to all members of the RND Tennis team as they captured their fourth EOSSAA Team Championship at the Kingston Tennis Club yesterday. For the first time in the history of the tournament Regi will share the title with Smith Falls D.C.I. as both schools finished in first place with 22 points respectively. EOSSAA finalists were Kristen O Neil in Jr. Girls Singles, and OFSAA qualifiers Jamie Wright and Connor Santoni in Sr. Boys Doubles and Meg Dickson and Thomas Bouvier in Sr. Mixed Doubles. Best of luck to Jamie, Connor, Meg and Thomas as they represent Kingston and Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the OFSAA Tennis Championships at the Rexall Tennis Center in Toronto on June 4th, 5th and 6th. RND Tennis KASSAA Champions Four-Peat! 05.15.12 Congratulations to all members of the RND Tennis team as they captured their fourth consecutive KASSAA Team Championship at the Kingston Tennis Club today, Tuesday May 15th. All members of the team contributed greatly to the overall team championship win. Players moving on to EOSSAA next Tuesday the 22nd at the Kingston Tennis Club are KASSAA Finalists Meg Dickson and Thomas Bouvier in Sr. Mixed Doubles, Emma Lambert and Kelsey Tyerman in Sr. Girls Doubles, and Noel De Sasio in Jr. Girls Singles. KASSAA Champions moving on to EOSSAA are Danielle Dickson and Madison Kyle in Jr. Girls Doubles, Lucy Le Brun and Nolan Hubbard in Jr. Mixed Doubles, Cassy Santoni and Erin Brennan in Sr. Girls Doubles, Kristin O Neil in Jr. Girls Singles, and Jamie Wright and Connor Santoni in Sr. Boys Doubles. Practice Schedule 03.26.12 • Location: RMC Tennis Courts, Across the Causeway – Kingston, East • Time and Days: Jr. - Monday/Wednesday; Sr. - Tuesday/Thursday, Friday 3:00 – 4:30 pm • Weather Permitting - Listen to announcements at the end of the day, practice will be cancelled if there is sufficient rain or bad weather. REMEMBER – RND does NOT have rights to these courts and we are sharing them with the RMC community and general public. Please RESPECT other tennis players and represent RND in an appropriate manner practicing PROPER TENNIS ETIQUETTE! - If you don’t know what proper tennis etiquette is, please ask. Spring Season 2012 - Tryouts All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. These forms can be downloaded and printed (Click Here) for careful completion before the first tryout session. Student Accident Insurance The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
