Tennis Report from KASSAA Champioships 05.12.09
Congratulations to all members of the RND Tennis team as they captured
their second KASSAA Championship in three years at the Kingston Tennis
Club yesterday. All members of the team contributed greatly to the overall
team championship win. Special mention goes to Trina Ghiacy, Christine
Crawford, Ben Plazzotta, and Mike Robinson, who won individual championship
medals in the senior doubles division. An honorable mention goes out to
Shelby Jansen, Will Langly, Jory MacDonald and Andrew Zalewski whose mixed
doubles championship match was postponed and they will play for the KASSAA
title tomorrow at Richardson Stadium courts. Good luck to the team as
they compete for the EOSSAA tennis championship next Tuesday at the Kingston
Tennis Club on Napier St.
