Panthers Battle the Blues 04.25.13
This afternoon on the new Nixon Field at Queen's University the RND Panthers Girls Rugby team defeated the KCVI Blues 20 - 7 in KASSAA action. RND scored with quick runs by rookies Annie Kennedy and Lilly Dickson for tries. Hannah Greenwood overcams a pre-game injury from concrete stairs and picked up many loose balls and crashed forward gaining ground. Sadie Read was a force for the Garnet & Gold as she rucked and tackled hard all game. RND High Scorers: Annie Kennedy - 2 tries, Lilly Dickson - 1 try, Elizabeth Trickey - 1 try.

Spring Season 2013 - Tryouts
All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. These forms can be downloaded and printed (Click Here) for careful completion before the first tryout session. Information about introductory team meetings, workout and tryout sessions will be communicated through: this web site, morning announcements, hallway posters and other methods leading up to the beginning of the spring sports season.
Student Accident Insurance
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
