EOSSAA Champions:
The RND Junior Boys soccer team captured the EOSSAA AAA
Soccer Championship in Cornwall on Wednesday, May 25. Daniel
McBride & Anthony Geldart scored in the 2-0 victory over
Cornwall-St. Lawrence in the tournament opener. Kaine
Geldart, Anton Toutov & Jared Savory scored in the 3-0
victory over Pembroke Fellowes. AJ Conway posted both
shutouts in the competition. RND defends the EOSSAA
championship and closes out the season 15-0 in all
competitions.
KASSAA
Champions: Panther Fans enjoyed approximately three
hours of Garnet
and Gold Soccer Championship Action Friday at McCullough
Park. To open the day on the right foot the Junior Boys
Soccer team scored 4 goals in the opening 15 minutes of
championship play versus the Sydenham Golden Eagles. The
final outcome was 4 - 0 RND. Jared Savory asserted his will
cashing in all four of the Panthers goals in another
dominating performance by the team that has spent the entire
season doing it's talking on the pitch with it's offensive
firepower. A.J. Conway struck a familiar pose during most of
the contest in posting another shut-out.
The championship is the second straight and the third in the
last five years for the junior team that will now travel to
Cornwall on Thursday to challenge for the EOSSAA
championship.

A 5 - 0 victory secured RND's spot in tomorrow's semi-final
match. Jared Savory potted two goals for the Panthers while
Jesse Siciliani, Anthony Salamone and Anthony Geldart each
marked one goal. A.J. Conway posted the shut-out

Season Finale Shut-Out
A.J.
Conway struck a familiar pose throughout the game as the
Panthers shut-out the Lasalle Black Knights this afternoon
in their final KASSAA regular season game.
Convincing
Win Over the Crusaders in Challenge
Game
The Junior Panthers built a commanding 3 goal lead in the
first seven minutes of their game versus the Junior
Crusaders. A penalty kick goal against was the only blemish
on a convincing 6 - 1 win.

Posts Win Over Crosstown Rival

RND moves to 4-0 in KASSAA league play with a 2 - 0 win over
K.C.V.I. Anthony Salamone and Eric DaSilva were the Panther
goal scorers. A.J. Conway secured the shutout.

Soccer Team Remains

RND moved its KASSAA record to 3 - 0 on the season with a 4
- 1 win at Frontenac. Eric DaSilva banged into 2 goals with
David Sinkinson and Joe O'Neill rounding out the RND attack.
The
Steve Mantle Memorial Soccer Tournament Double Championships

Both RND boys
soccer teams captured championships at Lasalle today during
the annual Steve Mantle Memorial Tournament. The Junior Boys
were victorious in all four of their games and downed the
Sydenham Golden Eagles 5 - 0 in the championship match.
The Senior Boys had their championship game versus Bayridge
extend into a shoot-out. An early save by keeper James
Draper gave RND the advantage they held through a 4-3
shootout win.
The RND Scoreboard will be posting a more complete report on
both teams, including action pictures, on Monday afternoon.

Victory at Loyalist 04.28.05
RND moved to 2
- 0 with a convincing win at Loyalist over the Junior
Lancers. A.J. Conway posted his second consecutive shut-out.
RND scorers included: Jared Savory - 2 goals, Joe O'Neill,
Jesse Siciliani, Yianni Fountas, Anthony Geldart, Daniel
McBride, Eric DaSilva and James Bouvier had one goal each.
