Boys Golf - Day One 10.11.12Conor Rodriguez is tied for 20th after a cold, windy and rainy first day in Vineland. Golf - KASSAA Results 09.25.12 While the Panther’s golf team decked out with brand new matching bags and shirts certainly looked the part of champions they were unable to capture a second straight KASSAA title. On the final day however great play at Garrison Golf Course on the part of superb golfers Conner Rodrigues and Abbie Anghelescu lead to the pair capturing berths to the EOSSAA final. September 2012 - Tryouts Tryout Information: There is a meeting Monday September 10th, at the beginning of lunch in room 235 for all male and female students interested in playing on the RND golf teams this year. Tryout is Wednesday the 12th. Students that are interested in trying out must attend the Monday meeting. Any inquiries can be directed to Mr. Riley or Mr. Faught Regiopolis-Notre Dame Student-Athletes return to school on Tuesday, September 4. RND coaches will be prepared for the upcoming KASSAA Fall Sports season on day one with information about sign-up meetings and tryout sessions available through: Hallway Posters, Morning Announcements and Postings on the RND Scoreboard web site. All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. Tournament 1 18 holes September 18th Amherstview tee times starting at 12:00PM $20 green fee Tournament 2 18 holes September 20th Napanee tee times staring at 12:30PM $20 green fee KASSAA 18 holes September 24th Garrison tee times starting at 12:00PM $27 green fee Please advise your athletes that these tournaments will be run like a GAO event. There will be GAO level 3-4 rules official(s) on site for rulings and there will be an official scoring tent. Please review the rules of golf with your athletes as they will be strictly enforced. Protocol for Scoring - After the round players proceed directly to the scoring area, each golf course has a designated area and this will be communicated to coaches upon arrival score cards are verified and signed descrepancies are addressed in the scoring area. Failure to follow this protocol Disqualification. Rules officials will be present on course to assist with rulings and there will be a "pace of play" policy for the events as we are teeing off at the latest possible time to fit in 18 holes. In closing please advise asap if you have a team and how many golfers. If teams have non competitive golfers, these players will tee off after the competitive golfers are gone. Recreational players are encouraged and please note who your competitive players are and who your rec players are. As always I will expect your player rankings by September 17th. Student

The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
