The RND Panthers Junior Football team showed off a strong running attack led by Ameen Aghamirian and Joe Ghabros during their homefield battle with Napanee District High School. A Busy Thursday 09.27.12 Junior Football: The Junior Panthers finally got their campaign underway today when they traveled to the Lake for a clash with the rival Golden Eagles. RND put up early scores with a touchdown by Jordan Pringle and a later field goal, by Pringle. In the games last minute quarterback Ben Zahra combined with Pringle for a 60 yard pass and run play for a major to win game. 2012 - Tryouts
Regiopolis-Notre Dame Student-Athletes return to school on Tuesday, September 4. RND coaches will be prepared for the upcoming KASSAA Fall Sports season on day one with information about sign-up meetings and tryout sessions available through: Hallway Posters, Morning Announcements and Postings on the RND Scoreboard web site. All RND Student-Athletes must complete and submit to a RND Teacher Coach a Student Athlete Participation Form before participating in any tryout session. Accident Insurance
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board does not provide any accidental death, disability, dismemberments medical/dental expenses insurance on behalf of the students participating on school teams. To cover any potential medical or dental costs, parents are encouraged to consider purchasing the Student Accident Insurance Plan made available by Regiopolis-Notre Dame at the beginning and throughout the school year. Participation is voluntary and costs are to be paid by the parent or guardian. This insurance will provide coverage for school activities as well as activities outside of the school day.
