Junior Panthers Tackle KASSAA Football Crown 11.08.03
In convincing fashion the Junior Football team scored on their first offensive possession and never looked back in defeating the Napanee Golden Hawks 48 - 7 to capture the KASSAA. Godin, all of five-foot-six and 135 pounds was the jackhammer that put away Napanee. In addition to his three majors, Alex Hay and Jeff Hogan added the two on the defencive side of the ball. Matt Bloomestyn had a 30 yard pass to Dunlop that placed the Garnet and Gold on the one-yard line. Congratulartion to Matt Godin on a 800 yard rushing season and on the KASSAA MVP award. Good Luck to all the returning grade nines next year on another championship season. Championship. KASSAA Champions Record 8-1

Panthers March to Richardson 11.06.03
Prior to yesterday's semi-final football game, coach Geris was worried. KCVI had beat Sydenham, who had defeated the panthers he previous week. As the game concluded it showed that Mr. Geris had very little to worry about. Matt Godin scored two touchdowns at halftime, which gave the Panthers a 20-8 lead at halftime. Brandon Dunlop, Tim Greyling, and Will Choiniere on a 25-yard fumble return tacked on touchdowns. Jared Savory nailed a 22-yard field goal and three converstions that iced KCVI. The Panthers will march into Richardson on Saturday, November 8th, with their heads high and ready to play Regi style football. Panthers Prowl Into Semi-Finals 10.31.03
The Junior Panthers overwhelmed the LaSalle Black Knights. First play of the game Burtch ran a 50 yard touchdown run untouched. Matt Godin had 150 yard rushing game with a total of two major scores for the Panthers. Matt Bloomestyn hit Burns with a deep 40 yard bomb for a touchdown followed by a huge interception by Hogan for a 55 yard major. The Panthers defence shut don the Black Knights. They could only score on a fumble in the Panthers offencive back field special teams. The final score was 45-6. The Panthers are headed to the semi-finals on Tuesday November 4th.

Panthers Get Taste of Defeat 10.29.03
The Panthers lost concentration and fumbled a punt which soon led to an Eagles score. The Panther had a continuing brain cramp and gave the ball up with many unforced turnovers. The coaches are eager to get back to practice and get back to playing Regi football. Though the Panthers lost they are still first place going into the playoffs. They will be facing the Lasalle Black Knights on October 30th , 12:30 at Regi.

Regi Crusades Holy Cross 10.17.03
On Thursday afternoon, the Junior Panthers reclaimed the Catholic Cup at Holy Cross.The Panthers were dominant in the first half. Bloomestyn threw a 70 yard pass a catch play to Mercer. The following play the Panthers punched the ball in the endzone. Later Godin broke a 60 yard outside run, scoring the major. The coaches were very pleased with the boys preformance. "Thats Regi Football!!"The score was 21-9 giving the "Crusaders" no chance in the second half. The Junior Panthers are off to Sydenham to play the Eagles on October 24th at 2:30.

Panthers Crush KCVI 10.14.03
Once again the Junior Panthers offence dominated on the line and in the backfield. Matt Bloomestyn had 3 special team tackles as well as a rushing TD. Jared Savory brought in a pass late in the 4th quarter assisted by Dunlop. With no suprise the panther defence shut down the KC offence led by legendary Jeff Hogan. With this win and momentum the panthers have, it leaves them thinking, "WHOS NEXT ?!?"

A Favourable Friday versus the Black Knights 10.05.03
Jeremy Burtch, rookie running back, has a break out game with with his speed as he rushed for 100 yards and 2 majors. Alex Mercer made a spectacular catch which set up the final touchdown of the game. Jeff Hogan led the defence to vicotry with tackle after tackle preventing the knights from scoring.

Convincing Win Over the Falcons
09.28.03
At Frontenac the Panthers thrashed the Falcons 37-3. Tim Greyling lead the RND attack with two majors and 1 interception. Matt Godin had a 150 yard running game with 2 TDs, James Campbell ate up the D-line and pressured the quarter back with 2 sacks. The coaches were pleased with rookie starter, Peter Splinter, with two interceptions and multiple tackles. The pathers defence decimated the falcons running game and are now looking forward to their upcoming game against Lasalle. KASSAA Record 2-0

First Game was a "Coach Pleaser"(ry) 09.22.03
Throughout the game the panthers ate up the Bayridge offence at the line of scrimmage, only allowing five first downs. This impressive defence was spearheaded by Jeff Hogan who lead the team in tackles. In the middle of the first quarter Burtch ran for a 40 yard run followed by a score by Matt Godin. The junior panther offencive line dominated which allowed for their massive rushing success. The Coaches were more than pleased with their 33-0 win over the Bengals. And are looking forward to their upcoming game with Frontnac. KASSAA Record 1-0

Another Year of Junior Panther Football Comences! 09.05.03 (ry)
The Junior panther football coaches are looking forward to further ramp the success of the Junior panthers this season. With a strong backbone of returning grade 10 veterans and a large selection of determined grade nine athletes, the season is looking to be one full of potential. LOOK OUT HOLY CROSS
