My Personal Security Alarm

Alarm in Action

Alarm Reflection

This is my alarm. As you can see everything is connected some how. There is a peace of string that is ached to the top, it has a peace of tape on the end. The tap is placed between my push to break switch. When the lead is opened the tape is removed. Letting the two wires attach, then the circuit is complete and the light goes off.

Alarm Reflection

1. What did you learn from designing a personal alarm?

That in science you have to experiment . Also that you have to change things about your alarm as you go along.

2. What support task did you find the most useful and / or enjoy? Why?

I liked making the alarms as a group. I was fun, and it showed us how to make our final alarm work.

3. If you could build a second alarm, what would you change? Why?

I would not use a light bulb, I would use a buzzer, because buzzer are more fun to use.

4. What did you find most frustrating or difficult? Why?

How you tried to make something work and it did not work, and you had to do it all over again.

5. What did you enjoy most about the alarm unit? Why?

I liked all of this unit , because it was all fun except making mistakes.
