I was so excited about going. The bus ride there was fun too. My leaders were Tim, Mr. Perry and Mr. Webb.
In my group there was Jordan, Amanda, Richelle, Emily, Danika, Charlotte, Megan, Me, Kari, Jon, Jacob, and Lucas Top. The weather was also bad in the morning but it got better in the afternoon.
In arts and crafts we had four choices. We could make necklaces, watch Mr. Couture's group kayak, play Ping-Pong or play dress-up.
We all climbed except Lucas Top. and Jacob. Everyone made it to the top except me. The second I started climbing I didn't want to do it anymore.
When we went canoeing we learnt a song called the parts of the paddle. I went in a canoe with Jordan, myself, Richelle and Emily. We had a hard time because we kept going into the bushes.
We played three games where you had to arrange yourself and the group from smallest to largest, your last name and by your birth date. This was kind of hard because we had to keep our foot on a certain piece of wood at all times. We also played another game where you had to get from on line to the other. Each person in the group had a piece of cardboard and if you lost contact with the cardboard Tim would take the piece away.
My kayak was purple. It was hard steering the kayak because you kept going in circles. After a little while we all stood up and fell out of our kayaks.
You would start out being an omnivore, a carnivore or a herbivore. You would get a certain amount of poker chips according to what kind of animal you were. You would have to find certain things without running into flood, fire, hunter or having to visit mother nature.
I loved the camp. It was the best camp I had ever been to. I want to go back. I didn't like the climbing part though.
