Volleyball Convenor Duties

 
  • -bring at least 5 copies of schedule and The Rules
    -one for you
    -one for each of the two score tables
    -one to post on the wall
    -one extra for the referees
  • -make your presence known to all coaches - via an introduction
  • -large chart to record results for all to see
  • keep running tally of +/- as you go as well as regular results
  • -2 small charts to record results at scorers tables
  • post Code of Conduct beside schedule of tournament for all to see
  • -pens/pencils
  • -a couple of whistles
  • -2 flip charts if possible (ask someone from another school to bring one)
  • -8 students to help score and line courts
  • -monitor washrooms, upstairs, hallway
  • -get your 8 students to clean up after the tournament
  • -send an email with results to Paul Couture the day of the tournament so that results can be sent to the media ASAP and posted on the AASSOC web site. Do not fax in the results.
