On April 26, grade 7 and 8 students mustered up the courage to perform in front of their peers as part of the St. Michael Catholic School Comedy Showcase.
The Comedy Showcase was part of the Happiness at School Project, which is a learning experience that incorporates mental health and well-being, positive psychology, happiness, laughter and features stand-up comedy. Over the past eight weeks Kyle Woolven, comedian, has been working with the grade 7 and 8 class at St. Michael Catholic School. He has taught them the benefits of laughter and preparing them how to write and perform their very own stand-up comedy acts.
Congratulations to Matthew, Jonathan, Laryssa, Marines, Sunny, Tatum and Ryan for sharing your funny stories in front of class mates, staff and other guests.
