Youth Habilitation Quinte Inc. (Youthab), located at 210A Front Street, Belleville, ON is a community based non-profit organization helping youth ages 16 to 24 living in the Quinte area to obtain and maintain safe good mental health, employment, and affordable housing.
Mental health services include therapeutic counselling, substance use support and treatment, and eating disorders services. Employment services offer support to achieve long-term employment, meaningful careers, and skills to succeed in working life. And the transitional home offers a safe living environment where youth are supported to develop the skills of independence needed to live on their own and where they can be connected to other helpful resources in the community.
Youthab also provides a range of virtual groups throughout the year to support youth to develop skills in emotional management, to provide assistance with self-image and eating-related concerns, or to promote stress awareness and coping skills.
