St. Theresa students gain experience in the trades

February 20, 2019

On February 20, Grade 9 students from St. Theresa Catholic Secondary School attended sessions at Sir James Whitney and Loyalist College to learn about careers in the trades.

Grade 9 males attended Sir James Whitney for the morning to learn about careers in fields such as culinary, automotive, construction and more.

As part of a Skills Ontario initiative, Grade 9 females attended "Women in Trades" at Loyalist College.  These students had the opportunity to gain first hand experience of careers in the trades.

These events show students that skilled trade and technology careers offer many great opportunities.
