Holy Cross presents Newsies The Broadway Musical

EXTRA! EXTRA! NEWSIES IS HERE!

"Now is the time to seize the day!" The Holy Cross Arts Department proudly presents the hit Broadway musical, Disney'sNewsies at the end of this month! The cast of 53 students, as well as members of our pit band, lighting crew, art and construction classes, and make-up team have been hard at work since September creating this incredible piece of musical theatre!

Set in New York City in 1899, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a ragged band of teenaged 'newsies,' who dreams only of a better life far from the hardship of the streets.

Performances run November 28th, 29th, 30th, and December 1st at 7PM in the Holy Cross Cafetorium. There is also a special matinee performance on December 1st at 1:30PM. Ticket sales begin November 14th at lunch in the foyer and continue every weekday until closing. Tickets are $20 for adults, and $17 for students. There is also a special Saturday matinee price of $15.

 It is RESERVED SEATING so be sure to purchase your tickets early! This show is sure to sell out!
