Joint Compliance Audit Committee – 2010 Municipal Election

Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board, City of Belleville, City of Quinte West, County of Prince Edward and Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board are currently seeking interested applicants for appointment to a Joint Compliance Audit Committee for the 2010 municipal election.


The 2010 Municipal elections will take place on October 25, 2010.

A candidate for a Catholic School Board Trustee must, upon nomination, be a qualified municipal elector and be eligible for election to a four-year term (commencing December 1, 2010 to November 30, 2014). As a Catholic Trustee, you must be:
  • A Roman Catholic;
  • A resident within the jurisdiction of the board;
  • A supporter of the board;
  • A Canadian citizen;
  • At least 18 years old;
  • Not legally prohibited from voting; and
  • Not disqualified by any legislation from holding school board office.
